21.01.2022 Live video information session about transition to Home office in face of the recent pandemic. - By Neilson IT Solutions
20.01.2022 With Christmas fast approaching, businesses need to be aware of Christmas scams. Beware of emails requesting you to follow links, open attachments or asking for personal information or telling you that you have won something. If you know the person and you think it has been sent in error, a simple call to that person to verify whether they actually did sent it is good for both sender and recipient.

15.01.2022 Do you own a MAC device? I got some bad news for you then. Mac devices are traditionally rumored as being save from malicious software threats. However, the rise in popularity of Mac devices made them more attractive to cybercriminals, and Mac threats have now surpassed Windows threats for the first time. 12.01.2022 IT Security is not the same for each business, problem facing business can range from scammers to viruses. The scope of the targets are constantly improving and business need to start in front of the curve. With the cost of training or implementing strategy or systems in place can save business a lot of money. Anti-virus companies have a simulation environment in which you can train your staff to watch out for nasty emails in a controlled area. I would suggest business review their IT system security and also organise training for staff members on how to check what is legitimate also also how best to handle. Regardless on how good your system is the weakest point in any business is the person using the computer.

06.01.2022 Finding a solution for a business is something that needs personal attention. No two business operate the same. A statement that I get told frequently is "i am not sure what I am paying for or we were told you needed this". The Power of Why is important, regardless of what service or equipment you pay for, you need to make sure it is suitable for your needs. My tip is to do a bit of research on what you are wanting and have a price range of what you can afford. No point buying a rolls royce when all you needed was a SUV. This is not to say that you should get the cheapest, what is been said is get the right product for what you require is paramount. Computers and IT Services is no difference.
06.01.2022 Security advice - I hear constant stories of people saying, I have an apple, I don't get viruses. While 10 years ago this might of been true, today with the growing market strength of apple and android phones, tablet and computers, the shift is changing for hackers, scammers and others who have malicious intent. While the security in Mac and android are less likely to be impacted, it does not mean it is immune from the dangers. Here are some articles below. https://www.inde...pendent.co.uk//iphone-apple-intel-bug-flaw https://www.macworld.co.uk///can-macs-get-viruses-3454926/ My belief in this type of situation is, it is better to be safe than sorry when it comes to security. Preventing a issues is much easier then trying to rectify it afterwards.
