Tonight we head to the highbanks of the Hi Tech Oils Toowoomba Speedway for another QSRA Highbank Heist Tonight will also be the grand finale for the 17Q with Rusty at the controls as we look toward the 19th of December and the Inksane Tattoo Studio Queensland Speedcar title re-run from 19/20 and roll out a rather fresh AF BOSS chassis named Miss Daisy with a brand new mini sponsor to join the list of backers behind the 89 ... 20.01.2022 There’s a few rumours kicking round that we are done as 89ers never to be seen again fact is COVID hit hard and my industry was one that was lucky enough to scrape through although at times working hours and remuneration were a little sketchy with a lot going on behind the scenes in my normal life speedway certinally wasn’t high in the priority list of things to do. 13.01.2022 That’s boxing night racing done and dusted #89ers and while the old saying goes second sucks we learnt a lot off the car with the off season changes finally getting to run some laps under throttle The BOSS Chassis Thompson Esslinger 89A was strong all night and can’t thank the team enough for all your efforts cleaning , spannering and working hard it’s not all in vein Rusty ran in 2nd quickest with a loose car on a heavy track so with work in between the heats he ran a 2n...d then a win as the car and track came to meet each other putting the 89A Sprint Shack Steelmart Missile off pole for the main event and well the video posts the outcome. 02.01.2022 Well #89ers thats round 3 in the TFH Archerfield Midget Series done and dusted with Rusty parking the 17Q on the infield when power steering became an issue He ran in 9th quickest on a heavy track to start the nights proceedings then backed up with two heat race wins and emerged highest points drawing marble 6 to invert the top 6 While working on moving forward the steering went off song and that was "murder she wrote"...
