04.01.2022 We have to do a super special shout out to an amazing group of people. As they were planning their Christmas party they decided to set a challenge to all the pa...rty goers and raise money for Angels Santa Assistance. Together the group raised an incredible $1000, however it doesn’t stop there. Two business owners at the party decided to match the amazing donation and both donate another $1000, so together the group of friends at the Christmas party raised and donated a whopping $3000. A huge thank you to Jess from Jess Curtis - Financial Planner Wide Bay & Burnett who organised the whole thing. Tim Lennox from Big T Electrical and Cooling and Ben Neilson from Neilson and Co Wealth Management for both donating $1000 each and all the other folks at the party who together raised the other $1000. You guys are truely amazing. We really loved how this all came together, this $3000 donation now means all 213 hampers will receive fresh cherries, apricots, carrots, onions, corn and potato. We also used some it to go towards the teenage presents which are always the hardest and most expensive, without this donation we would have struggled with the teenage presents and there would have been no fresh produce. Thank you, thank you, thank you I have to mention the elephant in the room, why is Kelly kneeling in this photo? I asked both her and Sue (who took the picture) and they both have no idea, and that’s what complete exhaustion looks like! Haha
