22.01.2022 On 31 March 2021, the Coronavirus Supplement will cease. This will affect NEIS participants’ access to income support payments and NEIS Allowance. From early April 2021, most NEIS participants with a current NEIS Participant Agreement who are receiving JobSeeker Payment will need to transfer to NEIS Allowance. The benefit of NEIS Allowance is that the fortnightly rate of payment does not change, regardless of how much income a NEIS Business earns. NEIS providers have been co...ntacting eligible NEIS participants during March to arrange their transfers from JobSeeker Payment to NEIS Allowance. If you have any questions about how this will impact you, please speak with your NEIS provider. For information about NEIS Allowance, visit www.dese.gov.au/new-busi/neis-training-support-and-payments.
