11.01.2022 Records Set at Burracoppin Daffodil Day!!! We are very excited to announce that a record $11,250 was raised and will be donated to the Cancer Council. A record... crowd of 219 adults plus children attended the day. It was such a beautiful day out and such a pleasure to see everyone enjoying themselves in what has been a tough year for everyone in our community. We would sincerely like to thank our sponsors, the raffle donors, the stall holders, and everybody that attended or contributed to the day in any way. Days like this could not be as successful as it was without your support. The donated raffle prizes were worth a staggering $6000 and sponsorship came in at just under $2000 so a big shout out to our generous local businesses. We had an army of workers who helped the Committee and we greatly appreciated the efforts of the Burracoppin CWA and everybody who cooked, the ladies that worked tirelessly in the kitchen and to the men who helped with setting up and taking down the marquee and shades and getting all the heavy lifting sorted! A big thank you to Westonia Shire and Merredin Shire for the Marquee, shades and extra tables and chairs, Sophie Jane for the music and to Crazy Fun Amusements for donating the bouncy castle. We had 27 stalls and we thank the stall holders for travelling from near and far to be a part of our day. Daffodil Day is such an important fundraiser for the Cancer Council and we look forward to an even more successful day in 2021.
