25.01.2022 We would like to welcome a very handsome rooster Ecgberht (Polish frizzle), to our breeding program. Ecgberht came to us from Adelaide and is loving farm life and his ladies. Next year he will run with a straight polish line however we are excited to see some scruffy chicks starting to come thought.

20.01.2022 Fertile Australorp and Wyandotte eggs. Wyandotte eggs will be a mixture of gold laced and blue laced wyandottes (there is a possibility of breeding a splashed laced wyandotte, I have one from last season). Not keen on postage due to possible delays due to pandemic. Can do mixed cartons. Please PM for more details if interested

17.01.2022 The incubators are going and the first batch is on the ground. I will be incubating through the spring or can sell fertile chicken eggs for people to hatch their own brood. Please PM for more details if you are interested. Also if you have your own breeds I would be happy to incubate for you. The incubators will fit fertile eggs (quail / chicken / ducks / pheasant / guinea fowl.) These are some photos of the first batch.

13.01.2022 Im only new at bees with 1 functioning flow hive to help with pollination of fruit trees/crops. It was a lot of fun trying to give these ladies a new home but unfortunately they have moved on.

11.01.2022 Not bad for such a cold wet day. Must admit if I was a chook I'd sit in a warm nest today. I love the beautiful colours of different chook breeds (although there are duck eggs here as well). Eggs for dinner kids......

09.01.2022 What a beautiful spring day spent in the garden. I love being able to dish up dinner with fresh greens (peas/brocolli/ asparagus/ fennel/ mint and coriander) from the garden. And thanks to the fishing enthusiasts in our family for the wonderful fish. Hope everyone else enjoyed there day as much as I did.

01.01.2022 I am mum who gets immense joy out of gardening and producing food for my family to eat. Over the last 4 yrs I have been developing five chicken breeds (Wyandotte (Gold laced and Blue Laced), Barred Plymouth Rock, French Wheaten Maran, Australorp and a small selection of Lavender Araucana). These chickens are free range on our farm, help keep the weeds and pests down and also consume any left over grain from our farming business. I just wanted to use this page to share different food ideas, advertise when I have chickens ready for loving homes or sell any excess produce that I have. Please share with people that love similar thing.

16.12.2021 FEEL GOOD chook moment. My clucky fluff ball of a hen has been clucky for a week and instead of putting her in a cage I have given her my 6 chickens from the incubator that didn't have a mum. WIN WIN both are very happy

And a very special Polish naked neck - 1 chick If you plan to raise some you will need a heat light until they grow there adult feathers.
