25.01.2022 Strange post but would any locals like some stable hay with manure in it for their garden? My horse was stabled with a sore leg but he is now recovered and now time to clean his stable. I can bring some bags to the shop if any locals are interested! Nelly

24.01.2022 Whilst most of us are celebrating the return to school tomorrow (yay!!), it's important to remember that theres one family member who may not be so thrilled.... Our pets have enjoyed having us at home for the past few months and the transition back to 'normal' life could be tricky for some. Sure some may enjoy their freedom again.but others may feel anxious having forgotten how to relax and be independent. New pets acquired during quarantine will suddenly find themselve...s alone and may not have the skills to deal with this. There are a few things you can do to ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable on their own at home again. Firstly, include them in your new routine. Set consistent feeding times, walking times, play times and sleep times. Secondly, consider puzzle toys and games.things dogs and cats can play with on their own - such a food dispensing toys. And thirdly, ensure they get some exercise most days - this can be a play at the park, a long walk or even just a quick trip around the block. Signs that your pet isnt coping with life post lockdown include pacing, drooling, shaking, hiding, inappropriate toileting, destruction - of toys, garden or furniture and barking/howling. If you notice any of these signs of anxiety, please go and speak to your vet. There are many things that your vet can do to help support them through this time. Nelly
