21.01.2022 Day five....and what a day. We have had a lot to deal with.....customers that is.......thank you, everyone for your continued support...... had a couple if more deliveries...thank you Annette, Hope and Barb. Thanks Casey, Dominica and Jo. Just thought in this post that it was today......17 years ago..Steve and I bought the shop. I have been reflecting on all the years and all the friendships weve made. THANK YOU EVERYONE.....Thank you for letting me a part of your craft and s...ewing creations. Heres hopefully to another few years after all this turmoil and we come out less stressed and with less ufo's. Stay safe cheers

21.01.2022 Day 13.....bit quiet in the shop front but still had paperwork to tidy up. Had deliveries for Pat. Thanks Colleen and Jacky for your enquiries and sales. Thanks Brett again for helping out. Worked another late shift. Decided as off day 14....today (two weeks huh). I am going to give you guys a rest over Easter reading my daily exploits. I'll pick up again next Tuesday. But please note I am still available by phone and fb messenger, I just wont be back in town till next Wednesday for deliveries. I hope you can all understand. Have a blessed and safe Easter break. Stay safe. Cheers.

19.01.2022 PATTERN OF THE WEEK: "Pattern #S8518" by Simplicity. $19.95. 'Girl's and Misses' slim fit lounge pants'.

14.01.2022 Day 6. Once again I didn't post last night. Worked late. Yesterday was a little quieter. Had a couple of deliveries.....thanks Jill and Sandra. Got stuck unpicking.......God forbid I say that word....and we are all human. Tried to tweak a pattern and it didn't work. Wasnt sure how I was going to get round it.....guess what..hubby, God bless him. Came up with a solution... Now to fix the problem Friday and get going on projects that are waiting. Stay safe cheers

13.01.2022 Day four. Sorry forgot to post last night so you have two today. Working on Easter scrubs after getting a couple of orders yesterday and amongst feeding poddies. Thanks Barb and Amanda. Plenty to keep me going. Really enjoying this time at home.....sorry girls. Stage safe cheers

12.01.2022 Day 11. I have spent a full day at home finally and it's really nice. Steve started sowing so I was able to help out a bit too even if it's only being taxi driver. I finished the blanket I was working on and will deliver it tomorrow. Time to water the veges we put in and call it a night after feeding poddies. Stay safe. Cheers

10.01.2022 Day 12. Bit of a short one today. Decided to do a bit of book work instead seeing the fairies wont come and do it. The problem is when you are self employed and with time on your hands......you really have no excuse for it not to be done. Got a fair bit done though...surprisingly besides being taxi driver, shifting paddocks with equipment and feeding poddies. Did another late shift at work too. Will sleep well tonight. Back to sewing again tomorrow. Thanks to Judy and Jackie and Liz for delivery orders today. Stay safe. Cheers

09.01.2022 Day 8...which is today. I did manage to get some things done at home. Scrubs are done..thanks for the order Amanda. Thanks for the morning support Rivv, Lyndell and Megan. Had a couple of deliveries. I Want to put a huge shout out to my son Brett for dropping what he's doing and helping me out in the shop when I'm not in town. Makes things run a lot easier and keeps things flowing. Todays effort is starting to complete the footy blanket orders I have. Did the first of five last week (red and white) and did the next one today. Only got three more to do. These blankets measure 140cm square and are $60 each. I can do most sporting codes/teams to a degree. Just ask. Just because the season is on hold doesn't mean we can't support our teams. Calling it quits now for the night. Talk tomorrow, keep safe.....cheers.

08.01.2022 Day 7 and I didn't get further on the tweaking. Steve's solution didn't work much to his dismay. So it's back to the pattern and start again..........and there was the solution there in front of me......... Now I am "cooking with gas". All in all, even I learnt a valuable lesson yesterday. Go back to the pattern if you are stuck and start again. Things will fall out.....here's to a more productive day today....... And we got 11.5mls overnight. A reason to get up with s smile on your face. Have a good one. Stay safe. Cheers.

08.01.2022 HABBY ITEM OF THE WEEK: "Clip on Magnifier" by Sullivans. $43.90.

07.01.2022 Day 33. Oh my gosh. Has it been twenty days since I posted anything. I know it has been going way to quick for me as I still can't get enough done. I had planned to clear my table by the time the convid19 was near the end. But I dont think I will get there. Although I have done a fair bit. I'll show you the photos. I would like to let everyone know that we are going to open next week on Tuesday and Friday mornings just to break the back of all your sewing needs. I would like for everyone to consider the social distancing rules. I would appreciate if everyone would consider that patience might be considered if there is too many in the shop at one time. Now with all that out of the way. I want to see what you have been working on. Please post us your photos. Here is some of the items that I have been making.

04.01.2022 We have plenty of eggs for sale . Very free range $4.00 per dozen. Available at shop.

04.01.2022 Hi customers, just touching base with our business hours. They include: Monday CLOSED Tuesday - Friday 9am-5pm Saturday 9am-12pm... Sunday CLOSED See more

04.01.2022 Day 9..gee those days are moving along. Well, today was a bit of a slow day. Made three panel blankets, did a bit of sorting out in the shed and Steve raised my work table by three inches. With a lack of chiropractors and massages at the moment, we have to rethink our postures and routines when doing something fairly repetitive. By raising the table it will hopefully take the pressure of tightness across the shoulders. Another way is to take a break a bit more often and ...stretch. I found my way to the garden for a break and ended up getting sidetracked pulling out weeds and planting veges. All in all, an enjoyable afternoon in between feeding poddies. Stay safe. Cheers. See more

03.01.2022 PANELS OF THE THE WEEK: "Retro Caravans' by Kennard & Kennard. $24.00 a panel.

03.01.2022 Day 10. Bit of a hit and miss today. Heaps of phone calls, couple of deliveries. Thanks Rebecca, Coral, Amanda and Wendy ....and Kylie in Sydney. Want to give a shout out to Jade in the White Rose cafe for allowing me to leave pickups for out of towners. Thanks heaps. So....my sewing efforts yesterday are this much. Started a blanket order. Like how it's coming along. Also worked a large shift... Heres to another day. Stay safe cheers.
