21.01.2022 A SOLDIER WITH PTSD FELL IN A HOLE and couldnt get out. A Senior NCO went by and the Soldier with PTSD called out for help. The Senior NCO yelled at, told him ...to suck it up dig deep & drive on, then threw him a shovel. But the Soldier with PTSD could not suck it up and drive on so he dug the hole deeper. A Senior Officer went by and the Soldier with PTSD called out for help. The Senior Office...r told him to use the tools your Senior NCO has given you then threw him a bucket. But the Soldier with PTSD was using the tools his Senior NCO gave him so he dug the hole deeper and filled the bucket. A psychiatrist walked by. The Soldier with PTSD said, Help! I cant get out! The psychiatrist gave him some drugs and said, Take this. It will relieve the pain. The Soldier with PTSD said thanks, but when the pills ran out, he was still in the hole. A well-known psychologist rode by and heard the Soldier with PTSD cries for help. He stopped and asked, How did you get there? Were you born there? Did your parents put you there? Tell me about yourself, it will alleviate your sense of loneliness. So the Soldier with PTSD talked with him for an hour, then the psychologist had to leave, but he said hed be back next week. The Soldier with PTSD thanked him, but he was still in the hole. A priest came by. The Soldier with PTSD called for help. The priest gave him a Bible and said, Ill say a prayer for you. He got down on his knees and prayed for the Soldier with PTSD, then he left. The Soldier with PTSD was very grateful, he read the Bible, but he was still stuck in the hole. A recovering Soldier with PTSD happened to be passing by. The Soldier with PTSD cried out, Hey, help me. Im stuck in this hole! Right away the recovering Soldier with PTSD jumped down in the hole with him. The Soldier with PTSD said, What are you doing? Now were both stuck here!! But the recovering Soldier with PTSD said, Calm down. Its okay. Ive been here before. I know how to get out. See more

14.01.2022 Many of you may have heard about DRCA. Its the new legislation that will provide rehabilitation and compensation for current and former members of the ADF and ...their dependants. DRCA replaces SRCA - the current legislation. Eligibility, benefits and compensation remain the same. More info here: bit.ly/2xyjWic From 12 October 2017, the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation (Defence-related Claims) Act 1988 (DRCA) will replace the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (SRCA) for current and former members who have injuries or illnesses arising from their service prior to 1 July 2004. The DRCA replicates the SRCA, but has been modified to cover only current and former ADF members and their dependants. Eligibility and benefits under the DRCA will be the same as those currently available under the SRCA. Those members and dependants with existing claims and entitlements under the SRCA will now be automatically covered by the DRCA. There are no changes to eligibility and benefits under the Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2004 or the Veterans Entitlements Act 1986.

07.01.2022 Today I was given the privilege to Represent the Australian Veterans Alliance at the DVA LEGISLATIVE WORKSHOP. As someone who is a Vocal Advocate about what ma...y be wrong with Legislation/DVA I can honestly say that DVA are attempting to not only listen to the Veteran Community but are currently actively and positively engaging with us to discuss our concerns for the Young Veterans and how they are being impacted. Today was a big day but was well worth the effort to watch all those who attended actively become Unified in the direction that we must all take to Support each other. The below info is the Bill of amendments that will be discussed in the Senate on 19th March 2018.

02.01.2022 #HerStory "They often operated in stealth mode, idling their engines as they neared their targets and then gliding their way to their bomb release points. As a ...result, their planes made little more than soft "whooshing" noises as they flew by. Those noises reminded the Germans, apparently, of the sound of a witchs broomstick. So the Nazis began calling the female fighter pilots Nachthexen: "night witches." They were loathed. And they were feared. Any German pilot who downed a "witch" was automatically awarded an Iron Cross."
