22.01.2022 Was a hot day to be slogging away in the shed with chemicals etc but it paid off with my first full-tube etching mic design. That basically means the design is embossed into the aluminium. No paint etc, just etching. More at Hohm Microphones

09.01.2022 This is the Basilisk. Anything it looks at is immediately destroyed, all life withers as it passes and just knowing about it is enough to bring it into existence. The hardest part about this pic was the colour scheme. I tried so many options and loved different aspects of them, maybe I’ll do different versions... but I’m tired of looking at it, so I’m calling it done for now. Thanks for looking at it. 08.01.2022 I always knew that my time with Leonard Cohen would eventualy come... so i didn't force it. I just waited and waited and sure enough this incredible song - Avalanche - appeared in my life... first time i've played a nylon string in ages, and the guitar is just an old cheap c-40 that i played classical on when i was 14-15, but i put top notch flamenco strings on and tried to squeze a decent sound out of it.
