22.01.2022 Our new radar detector specific website is coming soon. http://escortradar.com.au In the meantime, follow our Escort Radar Australia Facebook page for all updates and news on Escort Radar Detectors.

19.01.2022 Analogue High Definition (AHD) camera systems have been available in the CCTV market for many years, but now reverse camera manufacturers have adapted the technology for the vehicle market Our new AHD cameras offer amazing image quality compared to older systems. All cameras feature true 1080p high definition video, high quality all glass lenses and premium Sony sensors. Our new update to our old 7" monitor incorporates a new high brightness crystal clear screen and can still... use older cameras too, so no problems with backwards compatibility. Pair these up with our new forward facing windscreen mount camera and Full HD drive recorder, for an amazing safety camera and recording system for trucks and other commercial vehicles. Gone are the days of low resolution DVR systems for the commercial market. https://www.neltronics.com.au//reversing-syste/hd-systems/

12.01.2022 Should 110km/h roads be a thing of the past?

10.01.2022 *Western Australia Radar Detector Ban* As most would be aware, the use of radar detectors in vehicles on Western Australian roads will be banned from 12th October 2020. The penalties are $1200 for cars, motorcycles etc and $1500 for heavy vehicles and 7 demerit points. This increases to 14 points during double demerit periods.... We are as disappointed as you, we feel that being the last state to ban detectors is not a valid reason (we also don’t have poker machines, toll roads or daylight savings). Police Minister Michelle Roberts claims These devices have always been about enabling people to speed without being caught and I’m really glad this Government is putting a stop to it yet there have been no studies to show that users of detectors drive any faster, have more accidents or cause more mayhem. In fact, the studies show that users are more aware of their speeds. The Safety Warning System (SWS) built in to many Radar Detectors to warn users in the vicinity of road crews, emergency workers and tractor driver's in the country has now also been rendered useless as well. Neltronics will continue to support our customers with regular firmware and Defender database updates to Escort and Beltronics GPS enabled Radar Detectors (link here: https://www.neltronics.com.au/downloads-software/). If you have not registered your device or done a recent update, we recommend that you do this now. For the passionate supporters, I suggest heading over to the Australian Drivers' Rights Association website at https://www.adrawa.com.au/ and register for any news or updates. Neltronics will continue to support our customers and dealers on all our aftermarket vehicle accessories, including Radar Detectors, as we have for over 30 years.

07.01.2022 "The clause that the minister has said she would use to introduce the ban is so broadly drafted that it goes well beyond simply banning radar detectors. This clause, if it becomes law, would allow bureaucrats to ban a wide range of devices by regulation in the future, including popular navigation apps and even devices that are being used by passengers in motor vehicles.

03.01.2022 WA Police Minister Michelle Roberts is pushing to ban Radar Detectors. But it goes much further than just Radar Detectors, the proposed legislation would also give Police the power to ban any other devices either from being attached to a car or used within a vehicle, with no restrictions on what those prohibited "devices" could include.
