25.01.2022 Latest on Soundtrails. Our V2 app very close, Time Capsules as a way forward for locative audio, and 4 new Soundtrails in National Parks.

23.01.2022 First day scoping out up-and-coming Bald Rock Soundtrail, northern NSW. Walked the trail. Post 2019/20 bushfires. A charred paradise: Granite, bushflowers & so many birds. Nature has an amazing way of tilting back to balance. Pity us bipods haven’t learned this one yet.

23.01.2022 A thorough investigation into the Roundware app Halsey Burgund (MIT Open Documentary Lab) and Hamish Sewell (Soundtrails). This is for aficionados of locative audio, and audio producers, what it's capable of doing now with AudioAR and where it's going. Bit thanks to Stories from the Red Couch for their help and support. This event is part of Soundwalks September @Babak Fakhamzadeh & Museum of Walking

14.01.2022 Doing some background research for V2 Soundtrails and our up-and-coming Time Capsules project. Listening into this one from 2002 by Jeff Knowlton and Naomi Spellman: an "interactive story centered on the railroad freight depot situated at 34 North latitude and 118 West longitude in downtown Los Angeles, California, early in the 20th century." Another one of the many amazing early locative audio works. http://www.nouspace.net//arc/radioell/34n118w/34n118w.html

09.01.2022 Four new NSW National Parks soundtrails are now in the offing: Bald Rock, Washpool, Wollomombi Falls and Aspley Falls. From ornithologists to sovereign tribal storytellers to geologists and timber cutters: an amazing journey of place making/production now begins This has been made possible through funding from the Australian Federal Bushfire Recovery (RTBR) grant.

07.01.2022 Not long to go with the V2 rebuild. An all-together meeting in Maleny Qld. #soundtrailsproud
