23.01.2022 La Puff, La Pant.....only the gardens, the rocks, the mail box, the driveway, the ponds, the pavers, the finishing touches and we are good to go. Looks a bit bland at the moment but that will change....Oh and paint those doors...whose bright idea were they?

23.01.2022 Found the manual for the camera today so I have been trying it out....think i have a way to go before I leave my day job :) Beautiful moon tonight although perhaps not the justice it deserves down my lens... :)

18.01.2022 My wire fairy is just about finished butterfly is nearly done a well so just got to put it all together and do the finishing touches. She will be in at the Cairns Art Society Gallery at DFO in February which is really exciting .

17.01.2022 Found a squatter during our site cleanup. Not sure what kind it is but caused a bit of a stir. No one was bitten so no hope of snake superpowers kicking in. Like laying about on the floor, curled up asleep, eating huge random amounts of food, hissing at passers by.....

15.01.2022 Just finished this beautiful bathroom in Machans Beach. Wonderful clients who were really open to new ideas and great to work with and I think the outcome speaks for itself.

08.01.2022 Forgot the photo of the doors! - I was obviously overwhelmed with the most gorgeous posing on the last post. We designed and made these doors ourselves as what I wanted was not available. They are bi-fold by 4 and are each approx 900mm wide by 3200mm high. They will have a specialized finish on them so they do not clash with the ceiling timber (as they do now). I just have to get them prepped for finishing. In my spare time....

07.01.2022 What an amazing difference one year can make to the look of a garden. I used these plants because they fitted with the Japanese look I wanted and I think they really love the cooler weather Can you guess what the wiggly shaped features between the pavers in the garden are?

06.01.2022 Cloud over Cairns this morning. Very lovely and rather other worldly

05.01.2022 Keep getting asked what the wriggly looking features are in the side garden. They are old roof tiles that I have cut horizontally 1/3 to 2/3, glued together to make the spacing uniform and then buried cut end into the ground. Was quite easy until I hit the plumbing underneath and had to get parts cut out of each one to fit in but I think the final outcome looks fairly different. One of my tradesmen says they look like caterpillars! No accounting for some people :)
