Over 50km of unsealed road network throughout the Port Pirie Council region required rehabilitation and Neo were contracted by the Port Pirie Regional Council to undertake the works. To meet the program commitment, Neo engaged two fulltime roadwork crews and a pit extraction crew to meet the resheeting material demand. Neo drew on its own in-house geotechnical capability to deliver the best methodology for extraction and placement and utilised the companies grid rollers in conjunction with our static combination rollers (steel drum / multi tyred), vibratory rollers and watercarts to place and compact the material.

10.01.2022 PROJECT // The City of Victor Harbour as seen huge development growth over the last few years with the likes of Bunnings, Coles & Aldi being established in the area. The Agnes Gillespie Drive Wombat crossing is positioned outside of the new Aldi and Encounter Lutheran College and finalises the footpath works in this area safely directing pedestrian and student traffic. 09.01.2022 PROJECT // Neo were engaged by both the City of Mitcham and the Department for Environment and Water to repair and strengthen The White Bridge. Located in the Brownhill Creek Recreation Reserve, the bridge was significantly damaged and compromised during the major storm event in September 2016. The bridge is the only access to residencies east of the bridge and access had to be maintained at all times. Neo developed an alternative design to reduce the construction risk to potentially further damage to the bridge integrity which both provided continual access and minimised the impact on the existing structure. Works were undertaken in the wetter months and had to accommodate constant creek flows and the associated strict environmental controls.

07.01.2022 PROJECT // Winding back to 2014, Neo was commissioned by the City of Port Adelaide Enfield to undertake repairs and strengthen a box culvert bridge that had deteriorated with age and was subject to high loadings. Strengthening works included the construction of a heavily reinforced spanning slab over the existing culvert top and rehabilitation works within the culvert cells to rectify the pitting of the concrete surface and prepare and seal the exposed reinforcement. Works had to be undertaken without road closures and the staging had to allow for heavy vehicle traffic during the works.

01.01.2022 PROJECT // To cater for the ever-growing population within Mt Barker, the District Council of Mount Barker engaged Neo to upgrade the existing stormwater network and reconstruct the Eastern section of Hampden Road back in 2015.
