20.01.2022 Meet Jet. About 4 weeks old but only 200g. Treated by Ahvec and passed on for some intensive care. He’s a very sick boy with flu and secondary infectiion. Hypothermic, hypoglycaemic and hypovolaemic but given the best chance by Dr Lisa and nurses at AHVEC so we’ll work hard to get him through. 17.01.2022 Hope made it through the night. She remains breathless and will see vet this afternoon. She is still unable to latch onto a bottle so has been tube fed through the night. Weight is now 192 grams and she is bright and responsive. Will update again once she has seen the vet. Keep this sweet little girl in your prayers as she is not out of the woods yet.

14.01.2022 Well things have gotten a whole lot more complicated. It seems the hoomans have weapons of mass distraction!! And they use them well !! First we were levitated off the floor (we think this hooman is a witch who does black magics). She put us onto of a table thingy. We as if that wasn't enough for a kitten to his pants, out come this mighty dragon !! It was a fearful noise and it suckered uper all the mess we'd stragically placed on the floor !!. But was the hooman do...ne then?!?! Nope ... out come the fire breathing dragon from the bowels of hell !! Well she nearly saw our bowels when this thing started up !!. She said its not fire, its steam and will kill all the germs on the floor, she is an idiot !! We put them germs there to relay our messages back to the Floyd!! 07.01.2022 We are excited to let you know about a new project. As you know we are passionate about rescuing newborn and neonatal orphaned and abandoned kittens. But so often we know there is a mum cat out there who will have another litter ....and another...without our help. We have agonized over the issue and all the complex aspects of the debate about cats in the Tasmanian landscape. After much discussion and heartstring tugging amongst our directors and stakeholders we have settled ...on a project that seems to meet with everyone’s approval. Fingers crossed Our main charitable purpose is to reduce suffering of newborn and neonatal kittens and this project will make a huge difference. We are asking for donations directly to this project for this month. Any amount big or small will help us kick off the project. Eventually it will be self sustaining.
