25.01.2022 A lunchtime at NCS wouldn’t be complete without a spontaneous game of Duck Duck Goose. It is lovely to see our Year 12 students having fun with our younger students.

23.01.2022 2020 has been a different and often unpredictable year. However, in all things and in all circumstances, we continue to give thanks to God, for he is GOOD. Wishing all our families a safe and joyous Christmas time. We look forward to the learning adventures that 2021 will bring.

It has never been more exciting to eat marshmallows and M&Ms. Some of the children chose to take their chopsticks home to eat dinner with tonight.

18.01.2022 Great teamwork, problem solving and communication were on display, as our students worked in teams to complete an AMAZING RACE around the city. Well done guys. Such a fun day.

18.01.2022 Today, Year 8 lived their learning and enjoyed all things medieval. They came dressed as plague doctors, kings, knights, maidens, peasants and monks. The day included an interactive drama, solving an escape room, playing archery, eating medieval food, and much more. Big thanks to Sam Gerber for making his very own stocks and generously giving them to the History department, for future years to enjoy.

09.01.2022 Our heart is to nurture all students, regardless of ability, skill or interest. Here, all students are loved and valued for who they are, not just what they can do. We are a rich, diverse, K to 12 learning community, located in the foothills of the Blue Mountains, where Christian faith permeates all aspects of school life, including how we bring learning to life and in the relationships that we share. Families are at the heart of our school. We believe the relationship betwee...n you and your school is pivotal to a child’s growth. We are about developing young men and women to enjoy all of God’s good gifts; to love learning and to work together to build community. It’s the little things that set us apart, like knowing every child by name and teachers who get to know students as individuals. It’s in the community that’s built on cooperation rather than competition. It echoes in the laughter, the friendships and the engagement. We believe that these things make us a place of learning like no other.

08.01.2022 ATHLETICS CARNIVAL We love carnivals at NCS. It’s a time when our community enjoys each other’s company, whilst celebrating athletic ability and encouraging everyone to give it a go. We were blessed with the most amazing weather, and it was wonderful to see so many parents and grandparents enjoying the day. Special mention to Max Olsson (Yr 11) and Luke Harris (Yr 9), who both broke a number of records throughout the day, and jumped to incredible heights in high jump. Well done everyone.

01.01.2022 Every Wednesday afternoon this term, some of our primary students have been participating in an after-school sports clinic, hosted by Motiv8sports. Everyone has a blast! We look forward to continuing this relationship into 2021.

01.01.2022 MERRY CHRISTMAS Yesterday, our staff enjoyed their annual ‘end of year’ breakfast. The Executive team cooked and served bacon and egg rolls. Yum! There was jazz, fellowship, chatter, laughter, communion, prayer, and saying goodbye to some members of staff. 2020 has been an unusual year, however, we give thanks to God for his continued grace and provision of NCS, and look forward to all that 2021 will bring.... ‘For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.’ Isaiah 9:6
