We're seeing acts of generosity and love everywhere and want you to know that we are here and will help in any way we can. During these uncertain times due to the impact of the COVID-19 virus, we would like to assure you that our practice will remain open and treating patients as long as it is safe, ethical and professional to do so.... The industry standard infection control procedures are stringently followed in our surgeries and when sterilising instruments, together with additional measures we have taken, are aimed at limiting the spread of COVID-19. We are screening all of our patients to ensure they have not travelled overseas in the past few weeks and that they are not exhibiting any symptoms of cold or flu. We have hand sanitiser at our reception desk for patients to use on arrival and all magazines, newspapers and kids toys have been removed from our waiting room. Additionally, our staff are cleaning door handles, door frames and the front desk surfaces after every visitor to the practice during the day, and the Eftpos machine, pens are being cleaned after every use. We are following guidelines recommended by the ADA and government authorities and we will endeavour to communicate any changes to the opening hours of our practice locations promptly to ensure minimal disruption to patients. We don't want to close our doors but if the advice comes in that it is the safest thing to do then we will follow the guidance. 19.01.2022 To our valued clients. It is with a heavy heart we announce that the team at Nepean Dental have made the decision to help in the fight against this terrible pandemic of Covid-19. We will be closing our clinical practice for 4 weeks as of Wednesday 25 March 2020 and currently looking at re-opening on 22 April 2020. We will reassess re-opening the practice when schools restart and consider opening earlier if it is safe to do so. During this time, the Nepean dental team will... be working remotely and virtually to support anyone who may need assistance for a dental emergency This is unforeseen and we regret any inconvenience caused but the health, wellbeing and safety of our community and our families is paramount. We understand that this is extremely disappointing to all, however we believe this is the correct decision and directive to keep everyone safe and well. 18.01.2022 New Update: We have just received a Victorian Government update forwarded to us by the ADA and it is now mandatory to move to Level 3 Dental Restrictions effect...ive 5/8/2020 @ 11:59pm. Nepean Dental currently remains open as we are considered an essential service by the DHHS. Upon recommendations by the Australian Dental Association we are moving to Level 3 Dental Restrictions from Monday, August 10th 2020 and will be available to treat urgent and emergency dental care only. All elective dental procedures will be deferred until we are advised to safely do so. We will be operating by appointment only. We request any queries or requests for appointments be emailed to [email protected], along with your contact details and a member of our staff working remotely will contact you promptly. If you have an appointment in upcoming weeks, our staff will be contacting you shortly to reschedule it to a later date.
