They want to start introducing large-scale 1080 poisoning across NSW, not just for deer but for everyth...ing - 1080 poisoning of deer is not legal in Australia as it is in New Zealand where they use it extensively. The reason why some property owners have issues with deer is because they havent allowed access or they havent done an efficient job themselves. We will look at the driving forces & environmental triggers which determine their physiological &... behavioural changes throughout the year, & hopefully bust a few popular myths still held by some hunters along the way. If folks from other clubs have been at some of my talks recently & felt I had skipped over a few basics, this talk will address these. This is the foundation for the other deer topics going forward. The executive of Nepean have expressed that non members & visitors from other clubs are welcome. Im looking forward to this & I will be getting there at least an hour early to enjoy the company & a meal with everyone. See more
