I get to interact with a variety of people and make new friendships along the way. Being able to give assistance to others, listen and even just a smile to someone really brightens their day. 25.01.2022 R U OK? Three words that can make a difference to someone’s life. Nepean Private started the conversation RUOK? Our General Manager and Director of Nursing spread the word with cookies. It certainly brought a smile to our staff. 2020 has been a challenging year for all, everyone struggling a little or a lot. I applaud the staff within our hospital in the way everyone has rallied to support each other. It’s great to ask the question, but more important is the willingness to hear the answer. Volunteer work at the Nepean Private hospital has been a blessing and comfort to me. Not only do I have the satisfaction of being useful serving others, but also the opportunity of learning more about the medical profession of which we can sometimes be very critical about. I have also made many friendships here and I truly feel wanted and part of the community.
