25.01.2022 Well all its time to let all know that with heavy heart Neptunes Guiars is moving out of the Blue Mountains and moving to the mid north coast at the end of the year. I just wanted to say thank you to all my customers and friends for all the support, patience and help over the past 19 years. I will miss you all. Cheers Peter

22.01.2022 A very nice violin that came in with a broken neck gouged finger board and a bent fingerboard due to sitting on the belly for a time. Heat treated the fingerboard and straightened planed and finished to 1500 grit. New bridge and Pirastro Obligato strings fitted.

17.01.2022 Nice old Guild D25 dreadnaught in for a neck reset and some bracing work to reinforce the top. Very tough to get the neck off these old beasts due to the amount of glue they used and required a lot of heat and steam alas refinish work added to the list.

17.01.2022 Little Reso respray due to the grain filler used from factory blistering the polyurethane top coat. Replacing with oil bases grain filler and nitro Saturn finish.

15.01.2022 In tune with Maton guitar display are the powerhouse museum here is a 1970s Maton Coolabah dreadnaught. Repair neck twist refret with stainless steel frets new bone nut and saddle reglue loose back braces.

14.01.2022 Fitting up the neck on this big fella. Acoustic Jumbo Fretless Bass. This is the largest acoustic bass we make at 34 scale and 115mm body depth. Definitely a handful to play but gives smooth even loud response across all strings
