23.01.2022 The absolutely lovely winners of our recent competition enjoying a complimentary seafood platter & drinks today! Went for a lunch (on Neptune’s) after winning the Facebook competition. Cecilia the manager and her team were so extremely friendly and provided the best service I have ever seen. Super attentive and really lovely. ... Had the seafood platter which was amazing, everything was cooked perfectly even down to the rice! Cocktails were amazing and very tasty. Almost had to leave in a wheelchair after eating! Have never eaten at Neptune’s before because it’s on the other side of town to where I live but will 100% be back due to the great service and quality of food. Thank you so much for the wonderful review Shannon! It was a pleasure to host you both, until next time!

10.01.2022 Every time you come to Palm Cove you undoubtedly have a look out to sea to see Double Island; But how much do you actually know about this Northern Beaches icon? Here are a few facts for you to pull out next time you’re strolling along the esplanade..... Double Island was the location of an exclusive resort but has been closed to the general public for years.... Hollywood stars Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt & Keanu Reeves are among the celebrities who previously stayed on the island. The island had been used by the local Australian Aboriginals (predecessors of the Djabugay people), for tens of thousands of years. They believe it is the resting place of Gudju Gudju, a rainbow serpent. The discovery of gold on the mainland west of the area assured that Double Island became well known in the 1880's & 1890's, and it is said that during this time a mining company used the island as a resort for employees. Surrounding waters of the island can be explored by kayak with an abundance of sea life to see, such as small rays, turtles, and if you’re really lucky even dolphins! And it also makes for a beautiful backdrop while looking out to the blue waters of the Coral Sea from Neptune’s Source: Wikipedia
