25.01.2022 Saturday marked the 4th annual Charity Drift Dive at Swansea NSW. The Drift Dive is a charity fund raising event for Kaleidoscope and the NICU unit at John Hunter Childrens Hospital and is organised by Bob Staddon. 15.01.2022 Due to the recent publicity regarding HECS technology we have been inundated with enquiries regarding HECS availability. The HECS wetsuits as seen on Facebook posts and on the Today Weekend TV footage are some of a small quantity of prototype wetsuits currently used for testing and marketing. Full production of mass-market suits will be available around October this year under the Neptune Sports brand. In the meantime divers can take immediate advantage of HECS technology by ...using the Sharkskin branded Covert suit, socks and hood. This suit can be worn just like a lycra suit underneath a normal wetsuit or drysuit as an additional layer, offering exactly the same HECS Technology and screening provided by the wetsuits. More exciting news will be released over the coming days when Sharkskin will also release selected garments from the Chillproof range that also incorporate HECS Technology. We had a little rain but it didnt stop the fun being had as almos...t 100 people got into the water and fished out a spud to win a prize! Congratulations to William Rock who won the Mike Ball Trip away, James Oliver who won the Oceanic Excursion BCD, Grant Bucknell who won the ScubaPro Mantis Dive Computer and Andrew Brunger who won the Neptune wetsuit!
