Did you know the Palaszczuk Government is establishing a Manufacturing Hub, right here in Nerang and it will open this year! ...The new hub will help local manufacturers including support to adopt new technologies, including robotics and autonomous systems, develop skills and training, and access new supply chain opportunities. A new round of the Manufacturing Hubs Grant Program will open by August 2021 so watch this space!

14.01.2022 BREAKING: Our Palaszczuk Government has just announced that Queensland borders will close to NSW and the ACT from 1am this Saturday, August 8. All visitors will... be denied entry except for rare exemptions and returning Queenslanders will have to pay for 14 days mandatory hotel quarantine. Queensland’s Chief Health Officer has declared all of New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory as hotspots. Only residents of border communities and essential workers, such as truck drivers, will be able to cross the border. Exemptions including for compassionate reasons will be limited. Passes for border communities will be for those with proof of address and photo ID. We can not afford to risk the progress of our Unite and Recover Plan to kick start our economy. The border closure will be reviewed at the end of the month. #covid19au

09.01.2022 BREAKING NEWS on the SECOND M1 The Palaszczuk will commit $755 million to build the first stage of the second M1! Construction will begin within 12 months..., supporting more than 700 jobs. Once completed, the 16.1km motorway will divert up to 60,000 vehicles off the M1, making the commute quicker and safer. This project is the centrepiece of the Palaszczuk Government’s $830 million Gold Coast roads infrastructure and jobs package. 01.01.2022 Public request for those who may think feeding the horses at the Parklands ( despite the signs ) is a good idea. Healing Hooves Inc. On Monday one of our horses came down with colic. She was vet treated but a very unusual ammonia odour was coming from her breath . She was monitored and treated and appeared to feel a little better by the evening. But by Tuesday she was neurological, had no balance, and was in acute renal failure. She was taken to the Uni hospital in Gatton fo...r critical care at a cost of $2000 per day. The root cause....toxicity poisoning from Wisteria seeds that seaaonally drop from a tree in the gardens and had been fed in abundance causing an ammonia build up , blood and fluid in her small intestine, kidney failure, liver failure and bright red, swollen gums and tongue. 2 years ago, we lost a pony to the exact same symptomatic diagnosis and we almost lost a horse within a 24hr period. His anniversary is this week. The larger Horse survived PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT FEED ANYTHING TO OUR HORSES. Please ensure your children do not feed our horses. This tree is not accessible to the horses so people are gathering up the pods and throwing into paddock. We don't blame any of the garden community, they love our horses and will be implementing a strict management program of the seeds now and in the future but its imperative the public who visit are aware that KINDNESS KILLS. We will be launching an official Fund-raiser on our page today and we know you all love seeing the horses so I please encourage you to donate even $5 and share share share. 01.01.2022 IMPORTANT AGED CARE INFO - GOLD COAST From 12:01pm, 2nd August 2020, the Gold Coast local government area will be included under Queensland COVID-19 Restricted... Areas (No.2). Here’s a quick rundown on what this means for: VISITORS - No personal visitors (including care and support visitors) -End of life visits will still be allowed - Anyone entering a facility must wear a single use surgical face mask. RESIDENTS -Cannot leave the residential aged care facility unless they are receiving health care, attending a funeral or for an emergency or for compassionate reasons. -The residential aged care facility or the Chief Health Officer can provide an exemption for leave for compassionate reasons. STAFF - Residential aged care facility operators must limit staff movements across multiple facilities as much as possible.
