25.01.2022 I’m excited to start this adventure here in Nerang to teach your little ones a skill that they will have for life. So, I thought that I would introduce myself t...o you. My name is Chantal and I'm Married with a 7-year-old mermaid daughter Ava and she is the reason that I’m a swim teacher today. The bond I made teaching her how to swim is second to none. To think that she has this skill for life and that it is something we achieved together. I’m passionate about what I do. I started swim teaching through the love of teaching my daughter and the bond that we gained doing this. I Have been a swim teacher for 6 years and have taught at swim schools in Brisbane and up in Gladstone. I became a lifeguard and started a baby swim teaching program and had one of my 9-month-old students after 4 months of swimming with me able to back float without the support of their parents. Therefore, the reason I started my own JUMP Swim school is the passion that I and my family share to teach kids the love of water in a fun family environment and become strong little swimmers. 22.01.2022 Due to government restrictions surrounding COVID-19, our swim school will remain closed until stage 3 (currently set for mid July). Whilst we are a small, bouti...que facility that doesn't usually have more than 20 people on site at any one time, we will not be opening in stage 2 because this stage only allows for NON CONTACT indoor activities. We believe that teaching children to swim needs a very hands on approach and thus, we don't want to lower our teaching standards in order to open earlier. We will keep everyone posted with any updates as soon as they come to light & will let everyone know as soon as we are given the go ahead to start back. So unfortunately no lessons for now We miss you all terribly & can’t wait to get back!

14.01.2022 Mask requirements across Queensland are coming into effect from 5pm today (Monday 29 March). You must carry a face mask with you at all times when you leave h...ome, unless you have a lawful reason not to. You must wear a mask in indoor spaces, such as: shopping centres, supermarkets, retail outlets and indoor markets hospitals and aged care facilities hospitality venues such as restaurants and cafés (not required for patrons while seated; customer facing staff only) churches and places of worship libraries indoor recreational facilities and gyms (except if doing strenuous exercise) indoor workplaces (where safe to wear a mask and you can’t physically distance) public transport, taxis and rideshare, including waiting areas and queues for this transport airports and travelling on planes. 10.01.2022 To our valued JUMP! Community, Due to government requirements surrounding COVID-19, our swim school is now closed until further notice. At this stage, no date... has been provided as to when we will reopen, however when the government has made this decision, you will be the first to know. We will miss seeing the adorable, smiling faces of our little JUMP!ers. However, we’re getting to work to have water safety resources, so the importance of learning water safety skills is not lost at this time. We'll also have some fitness options available for all members of the family during this period when activity related businesses like ours are restricted. We will communicate further information about this initiative soon.
