21.01.2022 Last week on the radio the head of Career Development at the University of Queensland stated that in these COVID-19 times, the three best ways of obtaining employment were the following; 1. Networking reaching out to people you know 2. Researching the local labour market where you live 3. Canvassing approaching employers directly... She went onto say that more people were gaining employment that way compared to looking on SEEK, Indeed, Jora etc. Wayne, our Employment Guru has been telling our clients this for the last 10 years, even before COVID-19! This is why he has the BEST stats ever in this arena. If you are 16-24 years old, unemployed, looking for work and want to learn how to nail the above job hunting hints, then come see Wayne! Call Wayne to make an appointment - 0491 148 185

07.01.2022 BREAKING: Our Palaszczuk Government has just announced that Queensland borders will close to NSW and the ACT from 1am this Saturday, August 8. All visitors will... be denied entry except for rare exemptions and returning Queenslanders will have to pay for 14 days mandatory hotel quarantine. Queensland’s Chief Health Officer has declared all of New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory as hotspots. Only residents of border communities and essential workers, such as truck drivers, will be able to cross the border. Exemptions including for compassionate reasons will be limited.
