07.01.2022 Hey guys! I wanted to share some info behind why I never recommend SnS nails CREDIT//Repost vamp nails, it pretty much hits the nail on the head why I don’t offer it So essentially SnS is acrylic powder(it is in fact a brand not a product) it’s cheeky way of selling the same products for more, claiming that it is better for your nails (it has 0.039% vitamin E and your nails are made from keratin not calcium, so the calcium ingredients is useful) less product which sav...es NSS salons money. SnS also uses straight up super glue (they call it sealant but it’s chemical ingredients are basically the same as super glue) to bond the powder, so you can soak it off - they generally just pry and rip it off which is a massive NO NO but SnS is lighter and stronger on my nails you say ... well duh. When you’re using half the product and bonding it with superglue, of course they will be lighter and stronger. FYI super strong nail enhancements aren’t a good thing! Answer me this, if you hit your nail on something really hard, would you prefer your nail enhancement to break, or to stay in tact but instead your natural nail gets a chunk ripped out? Or even worse, separate the natural nail from your nail bed??!! Not to mention the sanitary issue of having every client did their finger in the same pot it’s a perfect breeding ground for bacteria and fungus. Now not all nail techs who use SnS treat your nails like this but most NSS salons (Non standard Salon) do! I do not offer SnS, or any dipping/slick pour system for that matter. Your nail health is my number one priority. I am not a chop shop. I dont churn through customers to make money. I take my time to assess and prep your nails - this is something non standard salons don’t do. I can also sculpt my nails, which gives a cleaner, thinner more natural shape. So although I charge more and take more time, I’m worth it. See more
