24.01.2022 Cutting out my next history jacket! I can’t tell you the joy this process brings me. Scouting the op shops for colours and textures is pure fun, especially done with friends for heightened giggles and hilarity! working out what other fabrics and embellishments will add interest and texture is crazy exciting and empowering. cutting and piecing it all together is super exhilarating and you won’t see me for hours! Tea is consumed in large amounts during this process!... sewing everything together causes a few choice words! Hence, loud, motivational broadway musicals must be played to keep the vibe high! upon completion it’s a happy dance routine usually celebrated with more tea and dark ginger chocolate! when someone admires your art and purchases your piece - that’s cause for gratitude and an inner joy that just fills you with adrenaline.
