So I bought this mattress topper as I wanted soft. Definitely is very sponge like but feels very comfortable and supportive in the right places and I feel like Im sleeping on a marshmallow. My joints are no longer aching. Im still getting used to the change of comfort levels. I would ...recommend this topper for anyone who wakes up with sore hips, numb arms etc due to the firmness of their mattress. My only criticism is the smell of the topper. A very strong chemical smell at first. Now mattress all aired - no smell at all...but be aware of this for the first 5 days and be good to air first. Alas the 4 star and not 5 star rating. Putting the sofa together was another story as things were not clearly defined in the drawn instructions, also I would advise wearing, some protective gloves when working with the metal square rods as they are extra sharp and jagged at top, which I soon discovered when I cut my hand. I was ready to send it back, but a day later and with the help of a friend we did manage to get it tog...ether. It looks very nice. I wouldn't call the cover beige, more of a yellowy cream, and the seat itself is not altogether grey, but more a weave of grey and cream.
