25.01.2022 Today we walked to Urrbrae House to view the Echoes Exhibition. The children loved observing the different artwork and natural displays (and rolling down the hill of course). The exhibition is open until the 30th of May (Sun-Thurs).

13.01.2022 Week 2- Apple tasting, observing and describing. Muddy puddles to jump in, decorating mud cupcakes, and creations. Lots of paintings at the easels and being brave while touching Leo the Bearded Dragon.
12.01.2022 So many amazing and interesting natural collections, we have sorted, compared, noticed and listened to the childrens narratives. Next week we will use these items for art experiences, add them to clay, numeracy experiences and whats in the box guessing game.

While carefully handling and observing the animals we practise our daily promise, found in our Kaurna greeting... we will help to take care of this land together, and the people and animals too

08.01.2022 Week 5- Learning through nature was a clear theme this week. Watching our Monarch Butterflies hatch from their chrysalis and then releasing them outside. Predicting if they were a boy or girl butterfly. We had 3 boys and 1 girl. Weaving our own crowns and painting/ printing with a sunflower.
