13.01.2022 Recent NeuRA PhD graduate Dr Rodrigo Martins along with members of the NeuRA sleep and breathing team latest paper investigating the effects of morphine on breathing responses and sensations to loaded breathing in people with sleep apnea has just been accepted for publication in the Journal of Applied Physiology https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/29698106/ The study shows that changes in breathing sensations are not likely to be a contributor to worsening sleep apnea with a moderate dose of morphine
