23.01.2022 Feeling over-whelmed? Can't stop the negative self-talk going on in your head? I know the feeling. My negative mindset used to play tricks on me all the time reminding me how stupid I was. We all know a negative mindset isn't a positive way to live but for many it's so hard to stop! It's like we have NO CONTROL of our thoughts at times! ... Or so I thought... In my search for clearing negative thinking for myself and my clients I came up with the SALT-formula. This simple method is a tool to help you go from feeling overruled by negativity to feeling stronger and more empowered in no time. So, if you want to start to become aware of your inner critic and challenge a belief (or two), try this simple 4-step process: S- Stop the shame. As soon as you know and become aware of the negative self-talk you want to interrupt the negative thought by silently saying the word "stop" in your mind. This will break the pattern or your subconscious programming and take you into the present moment. Awareness is KEY to make any changes. You cannot change what you are not aware of. A- Accept what is There's no point of blaming yourself for thinking these thoughts about yourself. Stop the shame right there. Practise saying "It is what it is" and "I am where I am". You are NOT perfect and you NEVER will be. Accepting yourself for being imperfect will let go of the shaming and blaming and help you go from a state of fight or flight to homeostasis. (YES, your fight or flight is activated when we are in any form of danger, even the danger of negative thinking. When we are in a fight or flight response we are in protection mode and cannot think clearly so the sooner we can let ourselves know we are safe we can start growing and bring our body and mind into relaxation response which is the opposite from fight or flight) L- Learn Now that we have let ourselves know we are ok we can look at the scenario and ask ourselves what we can learn from the situation. Is there something important here for me to take in? What is this negative thought really telling me? remember there is always a positive reason for ANY reaction even tough it might not seam that way. Look deeper and take out the teachings. T- De-Tach & Take Inspired Action Now you have taken out the teachings from your experience its time to de-tach and let go (it might be ashier than you even imagined now you have done the work). Then, ask yourself: What is the next step? What action do I feel like taking now I have let go of the thought? Make this method part of your toolkit for cultivating a positive mindset. 23.01.2022 High achievers find it easy to take action. We love living in the fast lane. We like being in doing mode. But there is a difference between hyper-active action and inspired action. ... There’s a difference between being busy because we are afraid of being still and taking action towards our vision with clarity. So how do we recognise when we are taking action from hyper activity vs inspired action? This is what I’ve learned working with many high achievers (and being o e myself): Highly charged action: - Feels fast (sometimes even exhilarating) - Is full of eagerness - Has a sense of urgency and - Fills you with a need to get there quick. Inspired action on the other hand feels: - Calm (sometimes accompanied by the feeling of being in love. Yes, the actual feeling of being in love for the first time ) - Assuring and expansive & - Grounding often with a sense of clarity One of these modes can cause burnout, the other fill you with purpose. 20.01.2022 Even though we try our hardest to be a good person sometimes an individual shows up in our lives that just dislikes us, period. I admit, it can feel terrible to not be liked. In fact, it may feel so terrible we want to try to reform, play small or accommodate just so they’ll like us!!! ... But the bad thing is, when we bend over backwards to be liked we often loose our true selves in the process... at time’s we might even start wondering who we truly are...which creates yet another problem... So how do we deal with people not liking us? These insights have helped me, perhaps they’ll help you too: PRACTICE COMPASSION Don’t make their anger your anger too. Stay connected to your heart and compassionate self, this will make it easier to move on. PRACTICE FORGIVENESS Find a way to become ok with the fact they don’t like you and assume they might never ever like you. It is what it is, chances are it’s not about you anyway. Forgive them for being where they are and forgive yourself for being where you are. PRACTICE APPRECIATION Remember all the people who do love you and support you. That way it will be easier to be kind to the ones who don’t. We all have our battles whether they exist in our mind or outside ourselves. Appreciate the darkness and light in your life, if everything and everyone was perfect all the time we would not grow or expand our awareness. What if you could be ok with people disapproving of you and keep your inner peace no matter what?

08.01.2022 Every emotion has a deeper story. For me there are no bad or negative emotions. All emotions tell us a story around where we are and what we think we need or feel like we are lacking. If we look at emotions this way we don’t need to work so hard removing our uncomfortable feelings...... Your emotion carries a story... so why kill the messenger? Listen to the message and it will help you transform. Go deeper, seek further. Your truth is not out there but in here .

08.01.2022 - I sometimes feel (more often than I’d like) that I have to prove myself and my existence - At times I feel like I don’t really have a clue what I’m doing (It was a fluke you got here in the first place, and you could have done better...) - Sometimes I question if I am really good enough. (Who do you think you are ask for more? You should be grateful for what you have..)... - I sometimes think about how some day people might see who I truly am ( one day they’ll see the truth and see you are a fraud, who gave you the right to rise up!) - Sometimes I fear being rejected and that the future I envision is not for me because I am not successful enough, not good enough, not humble enough, too up myself etc etc.....(ok, you’ve done your bit, that’s as far as you can go, next!) THIS is the Imposter Syndrome in action, can you relate? I believe ALL people have a dose of it, even the great leaders of our time (although it might not show on the outside). And yes, I have it too. And there was a time (not that long ago) where it used to stop me from pursuing my dreams a go ‘all in’. Has there ever been a time in your life where you have had a desire to do something extraordinary or follow your dreams and then almost instantly questioned your own ability? Can I run a company? Can I make it happen? We have a tendency to ask ourselves these questions and then almost immediately put ourselves down. For me, the key has been to embrace the part of me that questions my abilities and when I did, I came to realise that these feelings actually serve a purpose: they keep me humble Over time, I have come to accept my insecurities and feelings of temporary unworthiness. However, I don’t ever let them define me anymore, nor do I let them stop me from moving forward! Why? Because I aim to leave this earth with as little regrets as possible. Embrace your imposter, it’s part of you. Loving that part might be the most beautiful thing you will ever do for yourself.

06.01.2022 Get this one right and you’ll do amazing, get it wrong and you’ll struggle. I honestly think people tend to complicate business too much, especially people with a heart-centres business. Why? ... Because most of us think serving is somehow different from selling. It’s not. Quite simply, if you don’t know how to sell you don’t understand being in service. How to I know this? Because I’ve been there too. I used to feel so icky about selling. In fact, I used to feel so uncomfortable I used to give my services away for free! Until I realised you are actually not only doing yourself bad when you go that but also your clients. Wanna get yourself out there and share your knowledge with the world or do you want to die hiding? Simply put, selling is all about getting real comfortable (and uncomfortable) with giving and receiving.. The complicated part? Having to crack open, admit we need support realise are not perfect and that we are not halfway to where we see ourselves... Selling has very little to do with money and a lot to do with your own insecurities... Time to step up?
