20.01.2022 A while back (before this global pandemic stuff) we had a concept we wanted to pursue here at Neuw to connect with our community. A range of global artists, musicians, designers, illustrators, producers, and creators and profile them in the spaces that they make. We felt this was a very true and honest idea for Neuw to work on and put out. Especially considering this very brand was founded almost 10 years ago on that same attitude of originality, independence, DIY, and ...pure creative expression. So here’s the first episode of a series we’re calling Makers & Creators. It features the talented London based producer Tropics. A musician, songwriter, and producer who’s melodic and psychedelic tones are the perfect uplifting soundtrack for the current world. We dig into his creative process, what energy London brings to his work and how important his bedroom studio is as a creative space. Anyways, let us know what you think of this stuff and if you want more of them. We’ve actually got a bunch of these stories sitting on a harddrive somewhere that we’d love to pull out show you.
