05.01.2022 One of the worst things you could possibly do is not have enough food! You burn a lot of calories when hiking. If you don’t replace them you will quickly fatigue. The question is... what food do you take while keeping your carry weight down? Hope this helps

04.01.2022 DO NOT TRESPASS!! We are so lucky to have The Heysen Trail in our back yard, with its spectacular coast lines, bush land and pastures. Throughout the track there are designated camping areas and resting spots for hikers to take a break. These areas DO NOT include farmers dams to wash in or use their private property to have fires on. We have an amazing privilege to walk the track to challenge ourselves so let’s respect that privilege and remain in the designated areas!
