14.01.2022 #NeverForget the scars that returned serviceman or woman suffer, some visible, some hidden. The ADF gets them, breaks them, trains them, deploy them and then let them go, to settle into a life they left and most struggle to remember. Triggers are varied, the responses are multitude. The government irrespective of political type has an obligation - if you send them, then you have a duty to fix them. No excuses, no budgeting restraints, no letting petty public servants puffing out their chests to pretend how important they are, you are our elected leaders, for gods sake lead!!

13.01.2022 Hi everyone, we have been given an absolute treasure trove of stories by one of our directors which will see an additional + 5,000 stories posted on our webpage. We will also be doing s little bit of maintenance and upgrading part of our pages. Sorry if this causes any issues. Can you all do us a favour and send out invites to like our page to your friends and family who like us, have stories to be shared, have a connection to ADF or NZDF and are interested in seeing/reading ...real history as written by the many, not the few. We seek stories good, bad, ugly, funny and sad; free of censure from ex-serving, returned, serving and veterans alike and their friends and family. We need to record this history before it is lost and we are only left with offical or academic clean or tainted versions. The posts can be as long or short as you want. We would love to have you upload photos with your stories. Please PM us or contact us via website if any issues. I was reminded after reading a storey yesterday from a digger who escaped the Japs at Rabaul, that getting things off your chest and sharing can help you. This will not suit/fit everyone as we are all different and are at different stages. You are worthwhile, you are loved, shit will happen but the sun will rise again tomorrow to start s new day. That is the emblem of the Australian Army Badge, a rising sun, a powerful image, an image that has been seen/feared/respected around the world. Take care all of you, too many are lost unnecessarily!!
