05.01.2022 Smallclub Sounds 004 - Marc Roberts (UK/Bali) Listen https://tinyurl.com/yy2s8zad Through the years we've been blessed to make many connections across the world with artists, touring agents and industry folk who've really become a part of our journey as much as our locals, whether it's simply keeping in touch as pals or working closely on tours & events. One such person who's been around from the early days of Nevermind is Marc Roberts.... Marc has had a long and varied career in dance music both in and out of the booth and has, for the past several years, been residing in our favourite holiday spot Bali. As well as holding down some of the most iconic sunset spots on the island Marc runs touring across Asia for artists like Cinthie, The Illustrious Blacks, Demuja, S.A.M, Moomin, Will Saul, Coyu & more through FMLY ASIA. We asked Marc to kindly program us a playlist that would transport us to the beach clubs of Bali and give a little insight to his personal tastes spanning a lifetime of music collecting. One of the joys of traveling a lot is being exposed to new music from around the world, and the advent of Shazam opened up lots more doors to hear things and immediately search them out.
