09.01.2022 My friend Kathy Rimmer from Yin Yang Consultancy Business and I are working on pulling together 3 courses for you to choose from to get that piece of paper (Certificate) you need to help you find a new side gig to support yourself and your family while your business rebuilds to Pre C19 levels. The aim is for you to choose a course you are interested in and have your prior learning assessed to avoid having to complete subjects and content you are already skilled in. This will... reduce the subject load, the cost to you and the time to complete the course you choose. We are also in the process of finding out what subsidies may be available to you. Reducing cost is a big deal for all us in small business at the moment! Let me know if you want more info. These are 3 courses we feel will be most beneficial at the moment and suitable for small business owners looking to upskill. 1. Advanced Diploma in Leadership & Management (only a few extra subject this for Business which will give you a Double Diploma and I’m hearing that one Dip or Degree is no longer enough) 2. Diploma of Project Management or 3. Certificate IV in Small Business. I’m keen for maybe 10 of us to go through this together starting in July, even if we choose different courses. The support will be invaluable and maybe together we can create something great for ourselves and stay motivated through all this.
