14.01.2022 Every year, the chief of the Mahenye village, adjacent to the Gonarezhou National Park in eastern Zimbabwe, convenes a cultural festival. The festival celebrates and preserves the arts of skils of the Shangaan people in this region. We were the very fortunate group to be invited by the chief to this important event.

10.01.2022 There is a tree in Africa known colloquially as an upside down tree. That tree is a Baobab. This is a quiver tree and I think the colloquialism could equally apply to it. It is the only tall tree in the area and I see it as supporting an entire small world, rather detached from its harsh environment.
