19.01.2022 I have been working away down here in sunny Victor Harbor, not having much time to post on FB. About ten days ago I did a couple of bikes for Andrew, this one being his "old" track bike, the Yamaha TRX850 , Trixie or T-Rex depending on your preference. This old girl has done many many laps of Mac Park with it's previous owner and a fair few with Andrew. I did some measuring, re-jetting and small amount of maintenance , in an effort to help improve his lap times. Below is the results Thanks for the job mate !!

17.01.2022 Hi again, the other bike I tuned for Andrew, was the popular Gen 2 Hyabusa. I have done many of these bikes of course, but still enjoy waking them up. Andrew has a couple of the Yoshimura slip on mufflers on the beast, and that is it. I did not actually do any work on the bike as such, just tuned the ECU to suit the exhausts etc. They are such a great sports tourer even though they are "old". Especially good if one is a full sized person. Once again Andrew, thanks for the nice job. Cheers

14.01.2022 Hi, yesterday I was able to spend some time with one of the new FTR1200 Indians, with Anthony dropping his in for a tune. He had fitted a slip on half exhaust system and an high flow air filter. The bike ran well enough when hard on the throttle, as evidenced by me only finding 6 hp in the top end. The bike was pretty bad down low, dues to the mixture being waaay off and also the FBW throttle settings. I tidied all that up and de-restricted the bike, which you can see by the ...extension of the rev range. Anthony took it for a brief test ride before heading home, and mentioned "it pulls heaps better" He also indicated, that if he was a little impetuous the front tyre may come off the ground under hard throttle use.I used the Power Vision 3 to tune the bike,so Anthony went home with a handy diagnostic tool for future use as well. Cheers mate, thanks for the job. See more

12.01.2022 Hello again, last week I did a tune for Wayne and Jackie on their very tidy XJR1300 Yamaha. The bike had been fitted with a slip on muffler, and they both had noticed the low end response was very flat, I tested the bike and made some small mods to the airbox system and then fitted up a Power Commander and made a custom map for the big XJR. Results as shown below, Note, on the torque graph, we have surpassed the stock bikes maximum torque, before reaching 3000rpm. . Thanks for the nice job Wayne and Jackie.

06.01.2022 Hi folks, I did a tuning job last week for Jet , on his 2018/19 R1 Yam. The results were good, pretty much like a normal 2018/19 R1. Jet called me and had complained of the bike running very poorly in the low throttle areas, jerky throttle response etc etc. I spoke to him at length, he had had the bike "tuned" twice at different places AFTER an ECU flashtune. He was a) unhappy , b) nearly run out of money and c) highly suspicious of dyno operators. I did not get the full sto...ry first time , but winkled it out of him after a while. Jet had purchased a SC Project exhaust half system and then found the bike harder to ride, which is pretty much what these bikes do with any free breathing exhaust. In the end Phil and I were having lunch when he turned up to pick up the machine and I made him go for a ride before he settled the bill etc. We saw him smile for the first time when he came back and took off his helmet. Mission accomplished . The dyno graphs below show the gains at wide open throttle, as they do, but overall, this was probably the smallest gains he had. I used the Woolich Racing software to tune this bike, which allows a good range of adjustments to get everything just right. Thanks Jet for the tuning job mate. enjoy See more

03.01.2022 Here is a sneak preview of the new shop, we are getting closer to being ready, with Glen Traeger and his boys doing the bitumen yard tomorrow. Here is a couple of happy snaps of the inside. Engine room and inside a dyno room.
