20.01.2022 Formerly NEW ENGLAND CAMEL CO Dear old Charlie the goat will soon be 18 years old. He has lived with us since he was found abandoned as a tiny baby. 17.01.2022 Happy Birthday to my baby Zac who is 21 years old today. I don't have a lot of photos of the kids growing up as our house burnt down in 2015 and most of the good photos were gone for good. Zac survived being brought up by a sole parent , brutalized by his older sister Trinity, being boosted up trees to rescue koalas, thrown into lakes to rescue swans, surfing, endurance riding, parachuting, travelling, sharing his bed with wildlife, other animals and probably spent more nig...hts in a swag in the desert or in the bush than he did in a bed. At about 11 years of age he met the love of his life Bella and they are still together. Zac's other great love is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Armidale where at 17 he was very lucky to meet the first great and genuine male role models in his life. Not wanting to end up fiscally irresponsible like his mother, Zac has just completed an Advanced Accounting Degree at UNE. Below are a few photos I've found of him since he was little. See more

13.01.2022 UPDATE: The horses have now been rehomed. All info was passed onto the owner who made the final decisions. Thanks to all who were interested. I have been approached by someone needing to rehome some horses to good homes. These are not my horses.... These horses would need either knowledgeable horse homes or be there as companions or to keep some grass down. They would not be suitable at this stage (due to limited work they've had) for beginners or small children. These horses are located near Armidale and must go to good homes only. TB mare with approx 6 month colt foal by quarter horse. Appy mare with approx 6 month colt foal by quarter horse I believe both mares have been very lightly ridden. 3 year old unbroken bay quarter horse stallion. 1 aged grey mare. Interested people might like to pm their details and some information on their level of horse experience, where the horses would be kept, what they would be used for etc. See more
13.01.2022 UPDATE: All pups have wonderful homes organised to go to when the time comes. Huge thank you to the new puppy parents. 7 beautiful baby pups born on this cold and snowy day.... The mum was smart enough to find a warm place in sheep wool in the shed to have them. (These are not mine but the owner has asked us to help find suitable homes) for when they are old enough to leave mum. Mum is a purebred working Kelpie. Dad is a working Border Collie/Kelpie cross. Please inbox for more info. We would like to thank Sydney Pet Rescue and Adoption and Royal Canine for providing dog food to share with the needy. 13.01.2022 Bottle fed baby. It's been a long 4 weeks with so many little night feeds and such a small tummy. Her siblings are 3 times her size and still with the mother. This little one has been such a battler and now has finally started playing, being more dog like and is absolutely adorable.
12.01.2022 We're excited to let you know that we have transitioned to a Not For Profit animal sanctuary. The sanctuary name is now Kindly Animal Sanctuary and I will soon get around to changing social media etc to the new name and share more info as things progress. New England Camel Co will still exist for other things. Thank you to Ben and Erica Tooki for rescuing a magpie who is rehabilitating here at the moment.... The last koala we rescued is still at Port Macquarie koala hospital recuperating. Cat the tiny bottle fed baby is still having problems and has a neurologist appointment to further investigate her seizures. A huge welcome today to Pumpkin the piglet whose human family drove her a huge distance to come and live at the sanctuary.
