24.01.2022 Its not just about the rides! Cycle challenge is always a great gathering of mates, its about the setting and achieving of personal goals AND raising funds (while having the most fun possible) to ensure dynamic local people with disability have opportunities to lead an active life too! On behalf of all at New Horizons Tasmania, thank you so much to every single person and organisation who helped make today so fantastic! The Tassie cycling community really is the best :) Thank you so much to sponsors Wilson Homes ,InTAS, Hudson Civil Products, The Road Safety Advisory Centre Real Mates, LAFM, Beck's Mitre 10 , Hayes Healthcare Australia, the Meander Valley Council and the Ulysses Tamar Tourers! #WTCC2019

23.01.2022 Good morning - great to see you all up early and checking your tyres! Before you get riding, we'd love to give a big shout-out to the incredible Tasmanian owned and operated business, Hudson Civil Products - also long time gold partners of New Horizons Tasmania. The Hudson family and work crew support all we do- their generosity has made so many things possible for NHT- and we (and all our members) are beyond appreciative. We also love that they get on their bikes and ride! Thanks so much :) #WTCC2019 https://www.hudsoncivil.com.au/

22.01.2022 To all our Retro Riders; you rock! Taking out best on the day were Ian Leighton and Tim Elmer - but it was a very hard decision! Looking forward to another great retro ride in 2020 :) #WTCC2019
21.01.2022 TO OUR LOVELY CYCLING COMMUNITY: With a heavy heart, New Horizons must announce that the 2020 Western Tiers Cycle Challenge will not be going ahead. It has been necessary to make the decision to direct 100% of our focus and operational resources towards keeping our programs running and working through NHT's current core funding challenges, which are nothing less than immense. We express our sincere thanks to those sponsors and supporters who were all set to help run another... wonderful event- and huge apologies to disappointed riders too. Rest assured, we WILL BE BACK! Cycle Challenge 2021 has been booked for Sunday March 28th 2021- if you'd like to get in early and be involved, please do let us know! If you have any questions regarding this decision, or New Horizons Tasmania please do get in touch :) #NHTCommunity #WTCC2020 See more

18.01.2022 It's coming up to the End of Financial Year- and CV-19 has meant that it's also been one heck of a tough one for so many in our community! With this in mind, we...'ve been particularly humbled during the last week to receive some lovely surprise EOFY donations as well as a few enquiries asking how to donate. If you would like to, you may donate directly through our website here https://www.newhorizonstas.org.au/product/donation/ OR, email us OR call us to donate over the phone. It's so heartening to know that our vital work is so valued :) AND- we look forward to sharing news on a little 'giving back' project of our own soon, too :) See more

18.01.2022 Schools are very special places and so are neighbourhood communities! New Horizons was honoured last week to be invited to attend assembly at our beautiful loca...l Mowbray Heights Primary School, where we were presented with a $1000 DONATION, RAISED BY STUDENTS!!!. Isn't that extraordinary?!! This money will be used to purchase much needed new futsal equipment and uniforms as well as some vital office equipment we have been doing without. We love working in the wonderful, generous community of Mowbray and look forward to strengthening our ties even further with Mowbray Primary through our work with the City of Launceston Official Community Connector program. #NHTCommunity Mowbray Heights Primary School Launching Into Learning See more
