24.01.2022 New Plymouth Revival fellowship will be joining this prayer and fast tomorrow.

22.01.2022 A message from our Moruya fellowship, please keep them all in your prayers. God has been amazing to us and his family in the Moruya fellowship. Protecting and ...exalting, ministering to every thing, every thought, every situation. None of us down here ever thought we would see, or experience the last 4 weeks. At this moment the monster, as they call it, is about 4km away south and west of us. It hit town last night and took out some houses. They’re expecting it to hit town again, and it’s hungry. But by the grace of God and his mercies we will look forward to each day, regardless. We would like to say thank you to all the saints for the prayers. Please keep up the good work, and pray that the Lord will help our assembly grow. People have been spoken to, and prayerful encouragement would be appreciated. God's will be done. Amen. Love to all, Pastor Grant, Sharon, Jonah and the Moruya Assembly. See more

On Sunday a few of us helped out our chorus leader for our Sunday morning communion zoom meeting. This coming Queens birthday weekend New Plymouth fellowship will be "zooming" to the NZ National Youngies "Virtual" Camp. With the announcement today from the government of meetings of up to 100 people allowed from 12noon on 29th May it wont be long before we will be resuming meetings at our local hall. Watch this page or contact Pastor Bryan for further details, we'd love to see you at one of our meetings!

12.01.2022 It's summertime! 11.01.2022 This evening we enjoyed what will probably be our last Wednesday night zoom meeting with visitors from Fresno USA, Port Stephen's Australia and Te Puke NZ ...singing wonderful choruses, hearing an encouraging talk from the word of God and enjoying fellowship after the meeting. With Level 2 restrictions now eased to allow gatherings of 100 people we would like to welcome you to our first meeting back at our hall this coming Sunday 7th June 10.30 am...we'd love to see you there!

07.01.2022 **SUNDAY NIGHT SCRIBE** - a few thoughts taken from today’s talk. In Exodus 6:6-8 we see that God having stated earlier that He has established His covenant wit...h His people goes on to declare some of the terms of that agreement, His promises that go along with that covenant. Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: .. And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the LORD. These three verses include seven I wills from God. These show His promises of deliverance from bondage to liberty, His plan of redemption, His offer of a personal relationship and friendship with His people as well as the blessings and the eternal inheritance that go with it. We see these promises repeated in many ways throughout the Word of God. As we are born again of water and the Holy Spirit we enter in to a covenant relationship with God and we find that all of these clauses apply to us. Of course in any agreement there are expectations from both sides and we also looked at three verses containing a few of the I wills that we agree to do. Interestingly we find that these things we can declare as part of the covenant are actually blessings for us as well. Psalm 118:6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? We need to recognise that as there is nothing that man can do to change our relationship with God we need not fear them, so let’s stick to the agreement and not fear. Verse 19 says Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD. We agree to enter in to the house of the righteous God and be a part of all that is happening there, praising Him with thanksgiving. This is a place of sanctuary and safety away from the corruption of this world, again a wonderful blessing for us. There are many other conditions of our covenant with the Lord, but we finished by looking at another clause that we, the church should be obeying, Psalm 18:24. This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. God has not only made this day for us, but He has already dealt with the issues that may come up. We may not always understand why certain things happen, or have things go the way we would want them to, but today is the day of your salvation so enjoy it, savour it, because we have agreed to rejoice in Him, and this is an eternal agreement. The last word goes to God. While we are wondering, praying, organising a prayer and fast etc., He is working on His plan, performing miracles And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. Isaiah 65:24

03.01.2022 Here’s the **SUNDAY NIGHT SCRIBE**, still in lockdown, but still being fed by God. Here’s a couple of thoughts from today’s talk about Food glorious food Food... has a very special purpose in our bodies it keeps us alive. There are essential nutrients which our bodies don’t produce, or can’t produce enough of that can only come from ingesting food. As we ask in prayer for the Lord to Give us this day our daily bread, (Matthew 6:11) we are asking God to give us each day whatever is needful to sustain and maintain both our natural life and more importantly our life eternal. Ezekiel prophesied that God would send His Son and that we could be fed by Him. In chapter 34:29 we read And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land Jesus Christ is that plant and He spoke of this same idea in John 6:35 when He said I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. In verse 51 of the same chapter He said I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. We must consider here what Jesus is saying. Firstly we must believe on Him, which in the Greek means to trust Him, rely upon Him and commit to Him. Secondly we MUST feed on Him . IF any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever. We can know of God or even know God, but to be truly satisfied and live forever we need to be partaking in all of His promises, absorbing the essential nutrients that He gives us, into our lives, through the infilling of the Holy Ghost. There are many things in this world that we can feed on, but none of them will sustain us, we need to be constantly hungering and thirsting after righteousness and following the balanced diet that is God’s word.

03.01.2022 Another great Zoom meeting in New Plymouth this morning. We had visitors from Fresno, Wellington and Auckland join us and we heard testimonies of miraculous healing from Sydney and the United Kingdom. We are all looking forward to getting back to having our meetings at our local hall in Motoroa but in the meantime the Zoom platform is a great way of us getting together. If you'd like to join us please contact Pastor Bryan, details on this page.

02.01.2022 Here’s the **SUNDAY NIGHT SCRIBE** taken from today’s talk about revival. The Old Testament word revive means to make alive, give life, quicken, restore, be w...hole. In John 12:24 Jesus said Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. In Hosea 14 we read the Lord speaking to His people about repenting and in verse 7 He says They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine. So we are told that as corn is planted it dies, and from that death comes new life and great fruit. As we repent, turn to the Lord and come to know Him, dwelling in the shadow of Christ, we are revived, given new life and set on a path of revival. This is a process that works in an individual according to God’s word, according to His love, Psalm 119:107,159. In the New Testament we see revival is actually achieved by the in-filling of the Holy Spirit. The whole process is restated in Romans 8:10,11 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies (re vitalize, give new life) by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
