22.01.2022 Here we go we are opening next week with modified trading hours. Monday to Friday 12.30 to 6 pm Friday to Sunday 12.30 to 7 pm. Social distancing rules will apply so we will have one entry and one exit. Some barriers to protect our staff will be in place. We have sanitising and cleaning set up. So that great New Zealand Ice cream will be available again next week.

16.01.2022 Customers. As a business we pay our staff according to the award including all penalty rates super etc. We would also be one of the few retail stores who pay our staff a bonus each year for XMAS above the award. However the imposition of XMAS Eve Penalty rates from 6pm means we will close our shop from 6pm on Tuesday. We would normally stay open until 8pm but it is not financially sustainable to do that this year. We are closed Xmas Day but we will re-open on Boxing Day with staff being paid full Public Holiday Penalty rates. We hope you all have a wonderful Xmas and a Happy New Year.

16.01.2022 WE ARE OPEN for take away drinks, ice cream coffee etc. Staff are all trained in social distancing and are sanitising all surfaces regularly. Only 6 people will... be allowed in the shop at any one time so if you are asked to wait outside please do so. We have no tables or chairs so you will be asked to go outside once you are served. It is preferred that you pay using Pay Pass to limit money handling.

15.01.2022 Well hasn't 2020 brought some surprises. New Zealand Natural Yeppoon will stay open for business while ever it is legal for us to do so. Today we have removed all internal seating from the shop to accommodate the social distancing requirements. All external seating has been expanded to allow room also. We have expanded our storage capacity so should be able to meet any normal supply challenges.... Providing the idiots who are hoarding do not lock up all the milk in town we should be able to continue all menu items. If we run out of a line of stock because of hoarding please blame the idiots not our staff. We currently can't do fruit juices due to a refrigerator breakdown but that should be operational next week. It would be beneficial if customers could pay with Pay Pass to reduce any money handling during this time. Hoping everyone gets through this tough time safely. Lex and Viv

11.01.2022 Apologies to all our loyal customers. Unfortunately we have had major freezer breakdowns that forced us to close at pinefest and today. Hopefully all is now fixed and we will be back running from tomorrow. Sorry for any inconvenience. It certainly has ruined a few days for us

01.01.2022 Well we tried but for the safety of our staff and ourselves and due to the lack of trade we have temporarily closed as of today. Unlike many other businesses we are debt free so can ride out this disaster. Many won’t. Please support those local businesses who remain open. Look forward to seeing our loyal customers when this madness ends
