25.01.2022 Hello New Gisborne Playgroup Members and future members, We know that being unable to attend or join playgroup since March 2020 has been challenging for us all. The Committee is working hard to prepare to safely reopen New Gisborne Playgroup in the near future. The safety and wellbeing of our members is top priority. The Committee is taking steps to ensure we are Covid safe when playgroup reopens. We are following all current government advice and there will be some new step...s for everyone to follow when attending playgroup. We will give you all the information you need including the reopening date as soon as possible. The Ross Watt Hall will not be open for hire at this stage. However, we look forward to the hall reopening for playgroup soon! New Gisborne Playgroup Committee

22.01.2022 Hello New Gisborne Playgroup members and future members, In light of the commencement of Stage 3 restrictions in regional Victoria from 11:59pm on Wednesday 5 August, our plans to reopen the New Gisborne Playgroup are temporarily on hold. 22.01.2022 Calling all kids in the Macedon Ranges! For National Nutrition Week 11-17 October Cobaw invites you to create your very own animal made from healthy fruit and v...egetables. Send us a photo of your child’s creation along with their name and age and the top photos will be shared on our social media pages during National Nutrition Week. A fruit and veg box from the Macedon Ranges Farmers Market Online (https://mrsg.org.au/farmers-market-online) will be awarded to the animal photo judged the most creative. The recent Active Living Census found that only 25% of children under 12 and 14% of adults in the Macedon Ranges meet the national daily vegetable consumption guidelines. This is a fun and creative way for the whole family to increase their daily serves of fruit and veg. Submit your entry to [email protected] by 5pm on Thursday 8 October.

21.01.2022 New Gisborne Playgroup is reopening from Monday 5 October 2020! The committee is pleased to announce we are reopening for playgroup sessions from Monday! We will open from Monday to Friday with our new session times:... Morning session: 9am - 11:30am Midday session: 11:30am - 2pm Afternoon session: 2pm - 4:30pm If you would like to join a session, please contact our membership secretary at: [email protected] Current government restrictions mean that we can only have a maximum of 10 people in any session (all children above 12 months count as a person). For now the sessions will take place in our beautiful outdoors area. Members can access the kitchen, toilet and foyer facilities. Hopefully the restrictions will ease soon allowing larger groups and indoor gatherings. In the meantime, we are so happy to welcome you back to playgroup!

12.01.2022 Message from the NGPG Committee from 16 September 2020 Hello New Gisborne Playgroup members and future members, We want to reassure you that the New Gisborne Playgroup committee is busily working to make sure that the hall and outdoor area is ready for when New Gisborne Playgroup can reopen.... Given that regional Victoria has recently moved to the next step in Victoria's 'roadmap', we are hopeful that restrictions will be lifted soon to allow the playgroup to reopen. We cannot wait to welcome you all to the recently renovated hall and the beautiful outdoor play area. There will be a few new procedures introduced to ensure we are COVID safe when playgroup reopens, so you can rest assured that your playgroup experience is a safe and fun one!
