21.01.2022 Is it evolution or de- evolution? -////////////// We gradually evolved to be bipedal creatures to facilitate our hunter-gatherer instincts but as our food sources became more accessible, the industrial revolution allowing goods to be made three to five times as fast and finally the techno boom that is taking place, serving us million bits of information at the tip of our finger tips, has caused our grips to weaken and our feet to flatten. ... Through the ticks of time , our bodies have sat in the roller coaster ride of life, through the ups and downs, they have shaped around our stories. ................................ ....................................... We now find ourselves bunkered in our seats, EarPods stuck in our ears, staring at other faces across the screen, connecting through an internet that has substituted the air we breathe. One essential thing to keep in mind is that the human body learns, unlearns and relearns, powered by our minds, it is fuelled by determination, persistence and a zest for life. If you need a pick up, a nudge to move you out of your seat and find the true definition of function, reconnect with the you inside and break the shackles of stiffness and pain, let’s reverse the clock and rediscover our potential held inside our tissues that make up our scaffold. Have us in your corner in your bout to regain your health, we will never throw in the towel because with the human spirit, winning is inevitable.

One essential thing to keep in mind is that the human body learns, unlearns and relearns, powered by our minds, it is fuelled by determination, persistence and a zest for life. 09.01.2022 A recent study by Associate Professor Sylvia Gustin from Neuroscience Research Australia and the University of New South Wales shows that people who suffer from chronic pain will also experience physical changes in their brain, which in turn can cause changes in temperament and personality. Chronic pain sufferers are mostly misunderstood and often unfairly labeled as being a negative person and the assumption is that their down in the dumps attitude is the cause of their c...onstant pain. Now, with the latest research, we are seeing that this stereotypical philosophy on pain should be flipped around Chronic, ongoing pain can cause a negative temperament and even depression., which would affect all aspects of the sufferer’s life By the time your pain becomes chronic Persistent Ongoing Relentless It goes far beyond the pain itself, it becomes bigger than the site of the pain, the joint or muscle, bigger than the original trauma that initiated the pain it becomes an emotional rollercoaster, which can often feel more overwhelming than the pain itself. It becomes an unknown, barely understood part of you and part of your life that could feel very isolating and hopeless We support our clients with trauma induced chronic pain, by adopting a combined therapy approach Treating both The physical The Emotional We help you and your loved ones to understand that your pain is real #cronicpain
