25.01.2022 We had a community request to help Keith and Jean move from one premise to another in Moe. Here we are out busy with the truck and enjoying a morning tea at the end of the job. Thanks Jean and Keith for your hospitality at the end of the move

24.01.2022 Some recent projects we have completed at Newborough Men's Shed have been making a Stye ( an A-framed ladder for the lady so she can easily climb over her wire fence separating each of her paddocks)

23.01.2022 Someone wanted their dining chairs glued back together as all the joints had worked their way loose over the years. Now these folks have a rejuvenated and safe set of chairs

22.01.2022 We have a young man who comes to the shed who has a disability and he wanted a chest for his personal belongings. We have worked together and his chest is not far from completion. This has been made from recycled/planed boards from a Veggie bin

22.01.2022 One of our members Newborough, Victoria Men's Shed, Rob, has been restoring a piano seat that was given to him. Here are the pics of a work in progress. He has stripped it, decided to make a new padded seat as the old base was a bit too dilapidated. And is in the process of the beginnings of a French Polishing. I look forward to seeing the end result in the next few weeks

Our Sausage Sizzle is on again this coming Sat the 31'st. Drop in for a snag and a drink and to say hi. Same for all the Saturday shoppers. 18.01.2022 Lastly for this week, a big shout out and thanks to Ant Worth for dropping by and teaching this old dog a few new tricks towards boosting the reach of this page. You have to be proud of that set of wheels you cruise around in.

14.01.2022 Newborough Men's Shed is slowly transforming with some organisation of work benches and utilisation of tools that have been donated for our use. All donations are greatly appreciated and well used. We have all sorts of tools to use from Drill press's to Electric saws, Drop saws, Drills, Planers, Scroll saws, Wood lathes Welders, Grinders and generally a bit of everything to help manage all sorts of tasks and projects. A bit of a look around the shed at the moment and some of the members busy with different tasks( yeah, us men are still messy left to our own devices) New members are always welcome to join and if anyone here reading this knows of any Men or Women who would like to get involved, send them down to the rear of 41 Monash Road, Newborough.

13.01.2022 Another community project we have going at Newborough Men's Shed is a Sensory Garden for one of the local Aged Care Centres so it can help some of the Dementia Patients. Here is the beginnings of the raised garden bed that some of the lads are building

10.01.2022 This week Newborough Mens Shed we have been busy with some repairs, restorations and removals as well as a visit. The repair we have had is for a Side table. A simple glue for three legs at the joins for a community member
