20.01.2022 NAIDOC WEEK 2020 - Always Was, Always Will Be NAIDOC Week is being held from the 8th November to the 15th November this year. Students are able to go and celebrate in our new 'yarning space' in the library. This is a beautiful new space where students can have a look at some beautiful new books and have a quiet relaxing chat to friends. Mrs Filippi, Mr Whitehead and Mrs Harding have been working hard with Ms Love to get our special space up and running. It looks and feels ama...zing. Children can come and look at the map of Australia that shows the tribal boundaries and find which tribes are the traditional custodians of favourite places to visit in Australia. The books are by Aboriginal authors and all the decorations in the space have been resourced from Aboriginal owned companies, which is really important when you are buying Aboriginal merchandise. Have a wonderful NAIDOC week.
