14.01.2022 I sat next to the wombat hole close to my hut in the evening and waited. After a couple of minutes these two wombats came out to eat right in front of me. They must have sensed I was there (even though their eyesight is very poor), as I was sitting so close by. Nevertheless, they did not perceive me as a threat and allowed me to spend some time with them. Wombats are cute and peculiar beings indeed. ~ Bhante Bodhidhaja @ NBM, October 2020
