19.01.2022 THE JOURNEY OF A SON: Wuan Ballestero was living off the coast of Portugal when the Coronavirus lockdown went into effect. Wuan wanted to visit his 90 year old ...Father who lived in Argentina but travelling by plane was not an option for him. Instead of waiting out the pandemic in the Portugal region Wuan decided to get a sailing boat to cross the Atlantic to visit his dad. On June 17th this year Wuan completed the 12,000 KM journey reaching his dad in Argentina, 86 days after he set sail. The long voyage was dangerous but the reunion with his dad was worth it all. At Christmas time we are reminded of an even longer journey. Jesus Christ, God’s Son, journeyed from Heaven to Earth so that humanity could be reunited with God the Father. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:17) In reality all of us are socially distant from God because of the pandemic of sin in our lives. Jesus’s journey on earth, culminated on a cross at Calvary where He died for the sins of all humanity. All who receive the good news of the sacrificial death of God’s Son will be reunited one day with God the Father, their Creator.

17.01.2022 Lockdown: A Luxury Many Cant Afford Many Australians have had their lives disrupted by the imposed Corona Virus lockdown but fortunately with the computer tec...hnology we have available to us numbers of employees are being payed because they can still work from home. As distressing as it may be if a person cant work from home and employment is lost in Australia or if a business goes broke no Australian will starve in this country as the government will supply the basic needs to sustain life. Not so in the Third World! When the First World closes down the Third World begins to starve. Much of the Third World does not have the luxury to work from home and lockdown or stopping work is near impossible for 2 billion people who live on less than $3 per day and who have no savings, superannuation government assistance or welfare programs. It is feared that in India alone that there will be 136 million jobs at risk in Post-Corona India with already 80 million Indian workers having now being dismissed by richer countries with no compensation and no assistance to return home. So when we think that we have it hard in lockdown, spare a thought for those in the Third world that have lost their jobs and whom have no food on their tables today. Better still, give to those in need, from the abundance that we have been blessed with in this great country. Matt 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

09.01.2022 The Sunday Sermon: Keep Calm ! Listen Here: https://www.sermonaudio.com/saplayer/playpopup.asp In 1939 in the lead up to the war with Germany, The Brit...ish Government commissioned a series of Posters. The Posters were produced to give the British Public reassurance in the dark days ahead. One of the Posters was Red with White writing. There was a picture up the top of the poster of the Crown of King George VI and the words underneath read: Keep Calm and Carry on. Over 2 million copies, were printed but for some reason the Poster was rarely displayed in public, thus depriving the public of a much needed message in their time of crisis. In Philippians 4 Paul gives us the recipe for KEEPING CALM AND CARRYING ON! When we read Philippians 4 in the Bible, we are to stop worrying. We are to Keep Praying We are to Keep Thinking(about good things) and we are to keep goingWe are to carry on! Now the Keep Calm, Carry On Poster in England was also designed to send another message! The Crown was at the top of the Poster. The British people were subjects of the King and the King was reigning! Jesus is reigning today and those that turn to Him can find peace in every trial that comes our way.

09.01.2022 The Cradle and The Crown Many people around the world at Christmas see the manger scene in various places and sentimentally remember that Jesus was born in Beth...lehem. Unfortunately few acknowledge that the baby cradled in the manger was destined to be crowned with thorns on the cross in order to die for our sins. Jesus Christ, The King of the Jews, came as the Saviour of the World. Luke 2:8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

08.01.2022 Today's Sermon: Palm Sunday 2020 Listen Here: https://www.sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.asp?SID=4320225315716 Today is what is traditionally known as Palm Sunday in the Christian Church where we remember the fact that Jesus entered Jerusalem as King of Israel.... The Prophet Zechariah in the bible foretold both the first coming and the Second coming of Jesus Christ. At His first Coming Jesus came as the Sacrificial Servant At His Second Coming Jesus will be the Sovereign Ruler At His first Coming Jesus wept over Jerusalem At His Second Coming Jerusalem will weep over Jesus At His First Coming Jesus came to make Peace At His Second Coming Jesus comes to make war At His first coming Jesus was the rejected King At His Second Coming Jesus comes as the reigning King Some 500 years before Christ Zechariah saw the future, a future for Gods people and Zechariah saw the future for Gods King. Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass. And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth. (Zechariah 9:9-10)
