24.01.2022 Kerry ‘Joey’ Campbell Where do we start... this news is huge and words can’t begin to describe or acknowledge what this amazing man has done for Newcastle City Touch and the entire touch football community. Too many achievements to list, so here are just a few: *He started playing at Newcastle in 1972 *He was one of Newcastle City’s first players selected in a state team in 1987 playing nationals in Perth... *Joined the committee in 1986 *Club President 1993 And after 27 years has stepped down from the helm. The committee, community and touch family all come together to say thank you for all your time, dedication and generosity to the grassroots of social touch, the referee arm and representative levels. He will still be around staying on the committee as chief groundskeeper. A fitting job looking after the Kerry ‘Joey’ Campbell Fields. Joey your dedication to our sport is appreciated more than you know #teamnewy

08.01.2022 Only 1 week left to register your teams for our Senior Summer Competitions! Team regos must close next Friday 25th September to allow time for shirt orders and the draws to be completed before round 1. Managers will receive an email with the shirt order form that must be completed ASAP. Orders will be placed next Friday. Unfortunately the new online rego system is new to everyone so please be patient. It does not provide info to managers when players register. We will b...e sending lists to all managers next week so they know who to chase. If players are not registered online they will not be listed on the team sheet and will not take the field. 02.01.2022 Get excited!!!!!! Plans are in place and fingers are crossed. SAVE THE DATE Newcastle City Touch 2020 summer senior competition will commence the week beginning Monday 12th October with: Monday night men’s grades... Tuesday night men and ladies grades Thursday night mixed grades The competition will run for 12 weeks plus semi finals and final. Registrations will open in late August. Fees will be $100 per player which includes playing T shirt, plus $120 per team referee fees. Currently on line registration processes are being developed through our new website. Our aim is to have all registration links ready for our summer competition by late August. Stay tuned for the links coming soon! See more
