23.01.2022 As of Monday 30/3/20 Newcastle Golf Practice Centre is closed for hitting balls. But.....we will still be doing golf club repairs and equipment sales with plenty of SPECIALS up for grabs. All stock is being cleared!!... Simply call the range direct on 49512692 and I will get back to you asap. Also you can visit our website for more info. 19.01.2022 WE ARE OPEN as of THURSDAY 2/4 Its Official!!! The NSW Government has given permission for all golf facilities to re open.... At this stage the range will be open limited hours. Monday 10.30 am till 5 pm Tuesday thru Sunday 9am till 5pm. Public holiday hours are the same. Also, we must abide by stringent regulations re social distancing and not allowing groups of more than two. Our Teeing mats are 4.5 metres apart and our grass area has 4 metres between the markers. Our chipping area will be restricted to 2 persons at the same time and our putting green will be 1 person at a time. So, come on over and hit a few balls and enjoy the sunshine for a while. 18.01.2022 If you didnt see it you probably wouldnt believe how much a golf ball is deformed at impact. Id say that this image is by an average swing speed golfer because a strong hitter will compress the ball even greater than in this picture!!

16.01.2022 BACK OPEN!!!! Due to a slight change (and clarification) from the government, NGPC can stay open to all! Already practising social distancing and hygiene quite rigorously, all measures have been taken (even more so than required) to ensure you can still golf safely!! Slight change in opening times- check out their FB page.

10.01.2022 UP DATE as of Monday 23/03/2020. Yes, we are open normal hours. Even with our distance between our hitting areas meeting government guidelines we are now using every second mat meaning that we have approximately 4 Metres between each person practising.... We are cleaning regularly and we ask all of our patrons to respect the self distancing guidelines. Finally, we ask that you use cards for payment if possible. 09.01.2022 In all the years Ive been teaching and using video Ive never seen the ball still touching the club face well after impact!!! How it happened was the lady hit the top edge of the ball initially. (Topped) Trick shots by a beginner golfer. Pretty cool.
